About Neely

Portrait by Alex LazaraNeely Crane-Smith is the Community Energy Coordinator at the Center for Energy and Environment, and full-time coordinator and guru of the Minnesota Energy Challenge.

As a certified residential energy auditor, Neely’s focus is to make saving energy fun and easy, and help Minnesotans save energy and money in their homes.

As the Community Energy Coordinator, Neely’s focus is to educate people about reducing their energy use. To date, Neely has given over 180 presentations to anyone that will listen – including businesses, congregations, schools and other groups.

Neely provides materials and information about the Energy Challenge, including answering your energy questions and helping you organize Energy Challenge campaigns.  She gives FREE workshops and presentations, writes newsletter articles, provides pictures and generally does anything that you will need around the Energy Challenge.
